MISB is an abbreviation used mainly amongst Lego collectors meaning 'Mint In Sealed Box'. It is the desired condition of an old Lego set that you are buying from the internet - still preserved in its original packaging.Sometimes the abbreviation MIB (Mint In Box) is used instead. Some cynical builders say that, when used for Lego sets on eBay, MISB stands for 'Mangled In Substitute Box'.
