New LEGO Games!

After a long wait, watching that banner at the top of the S@H homepage, they're finally here! Yup, just yesterday Lego released the new Lego Games theme !

Ten games have been released, each with a different sort of gameplay: one's a racing game, another a maze, and another a build-a-robot challenge. Let's not forget my favorite, Creationary (pictured left), where players must build a certain thing and other players must guess what it is.

Overall, LEGO Games seems like a great idea, and Lego have pulled it off fantastically: the new dice piece will certainly be a must-have for MOCers, and there is a huge variety of new elements and ingenious designs to get not just Lego builders but families and children playing with board games again. Some of the games look a bit fragile, as there's always the risk that as you take your player off the board, you pick up a whole heap of the board itself as well. I guess that's just Lego for you.
