Yup, just recently Lego signed a deal with Cartoon Network to produce Ben 10 Lego sets, featured what TLG says will be 'never-before seen elements' and 'a new twist on the classic brick'. The sets will be released in spring 2010.
It's certainly a surprise to see such a large gamble made, even despite TLG's dealings with Disney to merch their Toy Story 3 movie next year, and I really don't like the look of it. 'A new twist on the classic brick' could mean expanding the boundaries of Lego purism beyond anything we've ever seen before: if they're making the monsters in Ben 10 as minifigs, there will be a helluvalotta new headpieces, customised torsos and what-not.
