I had the privilege of seeing the newest Pirates set (#10210), set to be released in spring 2010, yesterday at the Great Western Lego show, when it was released at 10 AM. So, here we go, I introduce to you: The Imperial Flagship!
It even comes with a fully decorated interior...
Some lovely new sail parts, and, as the man beside the display yesterday pointed out, it has technic-build masts, instead of just tubing.
It's going to retail for about £120, and will be released in the final (sob sob) wave of Lego Pirates sets for quite a while. Lego say that the Pirates theme 'is never gone', and that it's just taking a break of sorts. I hope they're right, because it's been a great series this year.
