Anglo-Saxon housing was the pits

...and yet my fellow TFOL Karrde makes it look quaint, clean and cute. His latest MOC is of an Anglo-Saxon pit house, half-submerged in the middle of a circle of green grass, with Anglo-Saxon people coming and going, to-ing and fro-ing, and generally doing Anglo-Saxon stuff all around it. A great 'bignette'!

Let's not forget the dark tan path, the SlyOwl-esque fences and the hair from the nurse in Collectible Minifigures Series 1.

This new old-style car by our very own, John, is great. I like the configuration of the wheels and mudguards. This is one of John's entries into the LUGnuts 31st challenge. (Expect more entries into that soon)

This is my creation of a Reichstag in WWII.

Some of the stuff SlyOwl makes just astounds me. All of the rest of it bemuses me with its amazing techniques.

So it will come as no surprise to you that I think SlyOwl's newest creation is fantastic. The sloping on the rocks is unique and well carried-out, and the inside of the mine is meticulously detailed. Of course, there is (as with all MOCs) some problems: the outside ground is a bit empty, and I don't think the rocky-floor effect is very realistic. I'd suggest a desert floor, and maybe a cactus or two.
