Lindsay Fleay's masterpiece, 'The Magic Portal', is finally shown to the masses. Considered to be the first ever Brickfilm, this 16-minute wonder was made over four years from 1985 to 1989. The effects are amazing - this film is also known to have invented Minifiglish: the gibbery, weird language that all minifigs speak, and was also picked up in Lego Island (the video game). It's really good, but gets a bit boring after a while and is very pixelated. I would probably only rate it 4/5
